Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of hoquestudio.com and any order placed with Hoque Studio. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to them.

Our Services

  • Custom stationery — bespoke, one-to-one designed pieces for weddings, engagements, birthdays, and milestone celebrations.

  • Semi-Custom stationery — personalised versions of our existing collections.

  • Branding & styling — visual identity and styling direction, for both events and business clients.

  • Shop — ready-made digital stationery templates for self-printing and editing.

Ordering Process

  1. Enquiry and, where applicable, a one-to-one consultation.

  2. Proposal and/or moodboard, with a quote.

  3. A 50% deposit (for Custom orders) confirms your booking and design begins.

  4. You'll receive up to 3 rounds of drafts to finalise your design.

  5. Once you approve your final proof in writing (email or Squarespace order confirmation), production begins and the design is locked.

Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in AED and may vary by collection or scope of work. We reserve the right to update prices at any time; the price at the time you place your order is what applies to you. Deposits and balances are payable via the methods offered at checkout or by the payment link we send you.

Proofs & Your Responsibility

You're responsible for carefully checking every proof — names, dates, venue details, and spelling — before approving it. Once you approve a proof, we're not liable for errors it contained, and any correction after approval may incur additional charges.

Intellectual Property

  • All designs, artwork, and templates remain the intellectual property of Hoque Studio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Purchasing a Shop template gives you a licence to edit and print it for your own personal event use — not to resell, redistribute, or use it to create a competing product.

  • Custom designs created for you are yours to use for your event, but we retain the right to display them in our portfolio and on social media unless you ask us not to.

Delivery & Production Times

See our Orders & Shipping page for estimated timelines. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees — busy seasons (particularly spring and autumn wedding season) may extend them, and we'll flag this at the time of booking wherever possible.

Limitation of Liability

We aim to deliver exactly what's been approved, on time. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect losses (such as event delays) arising from late delivery outside our reasonable control (e.g. courier delays, customs holds, or force major events). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be excluded under UAE law.

Governing Law

These terms, and any order placed through this site, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates [confirm Emirate, e.g. Dubai, once your business is formally registered]. Any dispute arising from these terms or an order will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.

We may update these terms occasionally; the version live on the site at the time you place an order is the one that applies.
